5 notable things that open a man's Heaven
Every person cries for an open heaven, when a man's heaven is closed, there
is nothing he will ever embark on that will yield fruit. He runs round a circle
and keep struggling in all he ventures into. Nobody enjoys staying in a place
of struggle for a long time. When you work like an elephant eat like an ant,
your heavens are closed.
The heavens of many families are closed, the heavens of certain
establishments and denominations are closed, the heavens of many students and
workers are closed, the heavens of some institutions are closed. A lot are
tired of life, some have even attempted to take away their lives because the
desired change is not forth coming, some wish they were not born into the
family they are now, some are thinking probably, they are taking the wrong
steps or that they are on the wrong tracks, some think that their past and
background is hunting them. Even those that have made it in life desires to
keep improving and sustain their success. These are the distinct and definite
things that open a man's heaven and also keeps it open:
1) Tithing: Many peoples heaven have remain closed because they
simply don't obey this key instruction from God. "bring all the tithe into
the store house...prove me now by it, says the Lord of hosts, if i will
not open the windows of heaven for you and pour out a blessing, that
there shall not be room enough to receive it" (Mal 3:10). You are where
you are now partly because you are not faithful in tithing even mint that enter
our hand. Any man who does pay his tithe will always remain in tight corner
with no means of escape. The devil tightens the heavens of a person who though
fast for open doors to come but doesn't pay his tithe because he has a legal
backing from the scriptures to do so.
2) Persecution: Many people run away from this aspect of Christian
package not knowing that precedes open heavens of believers. Stephen at the
face of Judgment and persecution said, "I see the heavens opened..."
(Acts 7:55-58a). Any man who refuses to cut corners and backslide or give up
when he is been persecuted, heavens will definitely open over his head.
3) Persistence: At times we give up when expected answers from
prayers we make is not forth coming. Elijah prayed seven times for rain to
come before it came (1 kings 18:42-45). You are product of your prayer life. A lot
have also had their heavens opened through prayers and because they stopped
sustaining it with prayers, it closed back again. Persistence is a key to open
our heavens, when it seem like its not working, keep pressing, when it seems
like your tithing and faithfulness is not yielding, keep pressing, One day when
it starts coming, it will come in an overflowing measure.
4) Unity: Many churches are in disunity,
many families are not agreeing with each other, many establishments are pulling
swords against each other, and how can there be open heavens in those places.
Jesus said, “if any of you shall come together and agree in one thing…” (Matt 18:19-20) Husbands and wives who are not
in agreement with themselves have their heavens locked up; no amount of prayers
they make will be answered (1 peter 3:7). There is a slogan that goes thus: “United
we stand, divided we fall.” Let us wake to our responsibilities and correct our
errors so that our locked heavens will be opened.
5) Worship: Show me a man who is
a worshipper and I will show a man whose heavens are opened. As we worship God,
every gates of heaven locked up against our lives are lifted up and opened
(Psalms 24:7). Worship is an invitation that God can never refuse – Rev Dr. Uma
Ukpai. When we worship him that sits on the throne, he steps down dwell with
us. Creating a consistent atmosphere of worship keeps our heavens opened.
Finally, It is one thing to open our heavens, it yet another thing to keep
it open. Let us be mindful of the fact that these keys listed above can
necessary things that we must do to enjoy the fullness of God’s blessings for
us.
